Our Safety Policy
The Management and Staff of BEC Group are committed to achieving a healthy and safe
working environment by providing its employees with appropriate training, support and
guidance. Our safety programme aims to attain zero accident rate and by eliminating unsafe
working conditions and practices so as to prevent the occurrence of accidents, injuries to
persons, and damage to property.
Safety is the responsibility of each and every employee of BEC. Safety shall take
precedence over expediency. Every effort shall be made to obtain the full cooperation and
participation of all workers on all projects so as to promote a safe and conducive working
The Project Managers, Engineers, Supervisors and Contractors have primary responsibility
on site for the well being of the workers and members of the general public by promoting
safe work practices among their employees and maintaining all equipment and machinery in
safe working conditions.
BEC and all its contractors shall comply with the respective country's Workplace Safety &
Health Act and all other statutory regulations laid down for the prevention of accident and
promoting a healthy working environment.
BEC's OH&S objectives are to safeguard the occupational health, safety and welfare of all
its employees and aims to achieve zero incident at all its workplaces.
