Our Safety Policy

The Management and Staff of BEC Group is committed to achieving a healthy and safe working environment by providing its employees with appropriate training, support and guidance. Our safety programme aims to attain zero accident rate.

Safety is the responsibility of each and every person on site. Safety shall take precedence over expediency. Every effort shall be made to obtain the full cooperation and participation of all workers on all projects so as to promote a safe and conducive working environment.

The Project Managers, Engineers, Supervisors and Contractors have primary responsibility on site for the well being of the workers and members of the general public by promoting safe work practices among their employees and maintaining all equipment and machinery in safe working conditions.

BEC and all its contractors shall comply with the Workplace Safety & Health Act and all other statutory regulations for accident prevention and promoting a healthy working environment.

All our operations are supported by Job Hazard Analysis (JOHAN) or Job Safety Analysis (JSA). These documents are prepared and enforced on site by our qualified Safety Supervisors.

BEC only employ people with skills and experience in this highly specialized field of work. Supervision of site operations is carried out by people who have the ability and experience to perform these works. Many of our site staff has over 30 years of experience in this field of work.
