BEC was awarded an ongoing design services contract for a Power Station expansion project in Texas, USA.

January 2002:
BEC awarded CD4 shutdown project for Shell Eastern Petroleum Shutdown.
BEC goes from strength to strength as it is awarded another major shutdown project from Shell Eastern Petroleum. This project involves a major structural repair to a 100m stack on Pulau Bukom.

December 2001:
BEC awarded LOC/UTL shutdown project for Shell Eastern Petroleum Shutdown.
BEC has been awarded the contract for the proposed steel liner to the LOC/UTL chimney on Shell Eastern Petroleum's Pulau Bukom. This ambitious project requires the complete removal of the internal brick lining to the 100m stack, removal of the top 10m of reinforced concrete windshield and the installation of a steel liner all within a 25 day shutdown schedule.

June 2001:
BEC successfully completes Shell Eastern Petroleum Shutdown.
BEC's recently awarded contract with Shell Eastern Petroleum Pte. Ltd. was an unmitigated success. The project was awarded just weeks before the shutdown to a very tight programme schedule. BEC safely completed on time for the start-up of Shell's operations.
